About this deal

Soul Remnants- item dropped by any mob killed with the Reaping Scythe with a 1/10 chance. If it kills a Haunter, the chance of dropping a Soul Remnant is 100%. Mainly used as a crafting material for soul related stuff without the need to go to the Nether! It may recieve more uses in later updates. Moonlight Greatsword - hit an enemy in melee to then shoot a damaging wave of celestial light. It's obtained by upgrading a Netherite Sword, but this recipe is just a placeholder for now. It's a reference weapon that appears in a vast majority of FromSoftware's games. Only Wraiths that are not invisible can blind their prey. Like most undead, Wraiths burn in sunlight. There’s a whole bevy of new curse cards, Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor is a new curse commander, and it’s nice that they are printing some more reasonable, cheaper curses. I think this has sufficient utility to drop, for 3 mana you ought to get quite a few zombies out of this, so if you have sufficient ways to generate value from tokens it’s a worthwhile addition. You’ll want to focus it on players who have fetchlands or simic or at least green, since those are the colors most likely to play additional lands or use tutor to the board tables (unless you happen to know better). Stitcher Geralf lets each player mill three cards for 2Bl, after which up to two creature cards that would be put into a graveyard this way can be removed from play and an X/X blue Zombie can be created, where X is the summed power of the exiled cards.

The new cards are themed to the world and the reprints can be from anywhere. Angel of Glory's Rise is the only reprint with new art. There aren’t any new cards in the set that have Affinity, nor are Artifacts a very prominent theme on Innistrad. However, The Celestus is a handy artifact if you want to throw it in. What to Take Out What do you think about this EDH precon? What cards are you most excited to play? Are there any of the new commanders you are planning to build around? Let us know in the comments! You can find more Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander content here! You might be worried, that you’ll play too many lands and draw too many of them. That’s why you also want some utility lands, which have other effects besides simply making mana. Some examples include: Zombies provide each of these elements in abundance. You can use cards like Carrion Feeder, God-Eternal Bontu, Grimgrin Corpse-Born, and Corpse Harvester as sacrifice outlets. These also work well with cards like:The Eater can be regenerated by a sacrifice on the one hand, on the other hand, it can destroy a target creature with 2Bk and two other sacrificed creatures. Surprisingly, Midnight Hunt even came with a few toys for the Investigators out there. There aren’t many, but you still might consider running the ones there are: creature cards seem very generous at first, in terms of sacrificing and killing your own non-token creatures, this amount seems tight at some points, but this is compensated by the many tokens. The enchantments mainly help us generate these tokens.

Super repeatable sac fodder that you can tutor into the grave. Combo with Rooftop Storm + a sac outlet like Carrion Feeder + a drain outlet like Diregraf Captain for inifnite drain. Charstone - found in Nether Wastes in clusters, has a second variant - Charstone Vent which is dangerous to step on as it ignites and blinds anything that stands on it, so better navigate the Nether Wastes with caution! removal; Fleshbag Marauder, Ravenous Rotbelly, Ruthless Deathfang, Butcher of Malakir, Eater of Hope, Overseer of the Damned, Dark Salvation, Syphon Flesh, Feed the Swarm, Go for the Throat Buzz Lightyear) Zombies, Zombies Everywhere (Buzz Lightyear) Zombies, Zombies Everywhere (Buzz Lightyear) Zombies, Zombies Everywhere Ghost Pepper - a food item that when consumed burns both your tongue and your enemies. Makes you breath flames much like a Flamebreather, who can drop this item. The Flame Breathing effect can be removed by drinking milk or entering a water pool.

Artifacts

Nightweaver - made from Cursed Cloth and Phantom Membrane, gives you Shadow Form (true invisibility, speed boost and some smoke particles) when sprinting. Engaging in combat will interrupt this ability shortly. Great for moblility and stealth, doesn't provide as much protection. The beauty of running these combo pieces is that they’re not dead otherwise; we can mill ourselves with Altar of Dementia and play out our hand with Rooftop Storm. The only sort-of boardwipe card that can be seen is Aetherspouts, which does not destroy creatures but puts them on the library of their controller. With the millability of other cards like Dread Summons or Gisa and Geralf, a strong combo can be created to destroy creatures indirectly. Once many creatures have landed in the graveyards, Ghouls’ Night Out helps to bend them to your will. Artifacts

mana;40 lands and Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Charcoal Diamond, Sky Diamond, Talisman of Dominance, Commander's Sphere, Crowded Crypt, Rooftop StormFirst up, here are the lands that will make your mana base better. However, these once aren’t as cheap as the ones that we’ve talked about before. Nevertheless, the good dual lands usually retain at least some of their value long-term, as they are always needed. If your opponents are playing a lot of mass removal spells, you can use Rise of the Dread Marn as an insurance. Once you foretell it, it costs just one mana, which can be easy to hold up during your opponents’ turns. I played with a proxy Diabolic Intent, Diabolic Tutor, Sidsi, Undead Vizer. I think there’s also a card that lets you find a zombie, but idk. Also added Liliana Heretical Healer and The Last Hope, as well as curses that give me more zombies. The removal suite can be edited to fit stuff like Slaughter the Strong, Generous Gift and even Winds of Abandon to help deal with recursion-based Commanders.
